Every year we fly in fresh over 16 tons of live Maine lobsters direct from the clean, cold waters of the Gulf of Maine. We cut out the middleman and buy direct from the largest supplier in the world – The William Atwood Lobster Company. That’s why you don’t need to pay in advance at our festival. In over a decade we’ve never run out of lobsters because we ship them in daily during the festival.

The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival proudly serves only lobsters from the Great State of Maine.

BEWARE OF IMPOSTER LOBSTERS
Maine lobster is like Russian Caviar or Vermont maple syrup: it seems like the only kind you can get. But the truth is that lobsters imported from Canada and elsewhere are often passed off as Maine lobster. Insist on the finest, demand genuine Maine lobsters, wild-caught in the cold, clean waters of the Gulf of Maine.

There is another reason we are proud to serve only fresh caught Maine Lobsters at the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival.

Wherever you go or however you cook it, America’s favorite crustacean is "Maine Lobster". The cold, clean waters of Maine’s rocky coast provide an ideal habitat for lobster. The patience and fortitude it takes to successfully harvest lobster is matched only by the care and consideration the hardy Maine lobstermen show for their resource. With an eye for the next generation, they have voluntarily established ecologically sound and scientifically supported conservation measures.

The history and heritage behind every lobster that comes from Maine means that only lobsters caught and processed in Maine deserves to be called "Maine Lobster". Because we care enough to serve only the best, we proudly fly our lobsters in fresh daily from the William Atwood Lobster Company in Sprucehead, Maine.

Don’t be fooled by restaurants or so-called "lobster festivals" that sell foreign caught or processed lobsters. When enjoying the King of Crustaceans, insist on the original, one and only, made in America, Maine Lobsters.

Interested in learning more about how Maine lobsters are conserved and caught? Read "The Secret Life of Lobsters" by Trevor Corson.

Our World Famous Discount Lobster Meal is a whole 1.25 fresh steamed Maine lobster, cole slaw, roll and lots of yummy buttery topping. This meal alone would cost you over $25.00 in most restaurants, but we are selling tons and tons of Maine lobster meals for $18 bucks. There’s no better family dining and entertainment bargain this weekend!

There’s something to eat for everyone and every budget at the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival at our international food court. Meals as low as $8.95!
